If the shoe fits…

Reformed Chicks Blabbing links to an article by Victor Hanson,’Islamic Fascism 101 On all they’ve done to earn the name’, or as Michele says:
“Yes, we can call them Islamic Fascists”, and has numerous items on Bill Clinton’s latest foofahs. The man has no shame. really.

People are talking about the Muslims today ( still, again, ever), with more emphasis on their history. This is a good sign to my way of thinking. Trying to puzzle out “why they do those things they do”. Although if you want the condensed version you just take a look at their religion’s tenets. Yet, viewing people from the events of their history in religious and national context, rather than only the contemporary actions of the day, does retain the important reminder of their humanity. It is so easy to create stereotypes and caricatures which then slide into the vilification. Even those cartooned villains, when viewed from the distancing of the past, are instructive when we can see plainly that humans aren’t so black and white, while some regimes and cultural views are.
